Kevin Norris, LPCC-S

Kevin is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with supervisory designation and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kent State University and Master’s degree in clinical counseling from Cleveland State University. With over 20 years of experience, he has spent most of his time in the community agency setting providing outpatient and intensive in-home psychotherapy to a wide array of patients across the greater Cleveland area. He has also worked in private practice settings, as a Free Clinic volunteer therapist, and as a clinical supervisor. Kevin lived and studied in Seville, Spain and can provide services in Spanish to those in need.

Trained by two local psychoanalysts and a South African-trained psychodynamic therapist, Kevin emphasizes deep listening and establishment of a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation within which proper analysis, insight, and positive, lasting change and healing of the whole person can occur. He has experience with both individuals and families and has realized success diagnosing and treating various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including mood disorders, trauma, personality disorders, eating disorders, substance use/abuse, mild to moderate autism, parental consulting, sexual dysfunction. Kevin strives to help patients draw upon the infinite truth and wisdom of Mother Church as they journey towards complete wellness.

Kevin is a faithful husband, father of four lovely children and one very sweet German Shepherd girl. He is active at multiple Catholic parishes and loves the Latin Mass. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, camping, sporting, and barbequing with his family and friends, as well as reading, independent cinema, and the perpetual hunt for hidden gem sushi spots.
